HCMC - Fourteen Vietnamese citizens coming home from Bangladesh tested positive for Covid-19 today, July 6, taking the country’s tally to 369.
These patients, aged between 26 and 56, returned to Vietnam on flight VJ5967 on July 3, according to the Ministry of Health. Three of them reside in HCMC, two in Hanoi, two in Thanh Hoa Province, and the others in Binh Dinh, Hai Duong, Gia Lai, Ben Tre, Hau Giang, Quang Tri and Phu Tho provinces.

They were transported to Thanh Hoa Province for quarantine right after arriving at Van Don Airport in Quang Ninh Province. After testing positive for Covid-19, they have been taken to the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases for treatment.
Vietnam has spent 81 consecutive days without new Covid-19 cases in the community, while 340 patients have fully recovered.
